Can't thank this company enough! Its is rare that you get to talk to a real person on your first phone call. My HVAC guy informed me the flue pipe was blocked and it was not safe to run the furnace. With falling temperatures outside this was a big concern not to mention safety issues. Caroline said they were scheduled out for a number of weeks but she would contact the field manager see what she could do to work me in. She called me back in less than an hour. Seth came to the house late afternoon and addressed my problem. Coleton arrived promptly on October 8th, explained how he prepares the area for his inspection. Coleton listened to my concerns regarding the gas fireplace and explained in layman's terms how he checks everything during his inspection. I had mentioned that I have used wood fireplaces many years, but never a natural gas fireplace. During his inspection, Coleton discovered that the main gas shutoff was in the utility room and the on/off for the gas was inside the box next to the "decorative logs", which is not by code. Evidently the sellers of this property had put in a wood fireplace with the option to use it as a decorative gas fireplace. Upon seeing where the on/off shutoff was inside the box, my husband and I decided to have Coleton with Mid-Valley cap the gas line and just use the fireplace as a wood burning fireplace, which I am more comfortable with anyway. So grateful to Coleton in explaining all the details, double checking everything, and for the thorough inspection. Colton also performed a fabulous job cleaning up any debris from the fireplace. Coleton also took the time looking at the cracks that need to be repaired on our exterior brick home, taking pictures, and relaying the information back to the company, so those repairs can be made. I'm very grateful for the professionalism, patience, knowledge, and attention to detail Coleton has! He was very helpful. He took extra time and cleaned our other wood burning fireplace on the spot and suggested a fix for better airflow and reducing smoke smell in the room with a new chimney cap.

Making the appointment was simple over the phone, and the reminder messages were helpful. Cameron arrived on time, and was courteous and thorough in his work. He explained what he found on his inspection and showed me before and after pictures. All together a great service and experience.
